Things are getting spruced up at my dollhouse is readiness for the arrival of Club Little House's new treasure trove. I've made curtains for the little girl's room as well as a matching bed skirt and comforter. Everything has been dusted and polished. The table is cleaned off for the celebratory tea party. Have you done anything new with your dollhouse and would you be willing to share your ideas?

Beautiful presentation!! I am on the lookout for a dollhouse. Don't have one, but I have a 6 year old girl who'd love to share in the fun with me! Can't wait to get our lovely packages. So exciting!
Oh my,yes! We did a bit of a renovation over here... I must get the rest of the dust swept up and post photos! I'm too excited!
I made my dolls new dresses and they have friend's coming over for the tea :)
We have a new tea set and new dishes coming. We'll need the extras because we've invited all of our friends over for an open house.
Anita - had you considered room boxes rather than a dollhouse? Or maybe using shelves in a bookcase for rooms? There wouldn't be doors or windows but you could "hang" curtains and pretend there were windows behind.
Anne, what fabulous ideas. Hadn't thought of them at all! Not sure though what room boxes are. Like shoeboxes/small boxes for each room?
Anita, you guessed right - room boxes are small boxes for each room. Dollhouse stores sell fancy ones but they can be anything you wish. There are even small shopping bags with the fronts removed and room scenes in them. You surely could make openings for doors and windows and even have electricity in the rooms. They can be any size and shape you want. Mine are made from foam core board (craft/hobby store) which is easy to cut and attach. It can be painted and papered too. Have fun with this and be sure to post what you decide to make.
